Job Details

Description
The IT Support Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of AP's IT infrastructure. This includes providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, managing hardware and software deployments, and actively contributing to the company's cybersecurity posture. The role is highly collaborative and will support both office and field operations.

Key Responsibilities:
IT Support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Track and document support tickets and resolutions

Cybersecurity Exp- School Experience or Certs will work
  • Monitor systems for threats and suspicious activity
  • Assist with firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protection implementation
  • Support vulnerability assessments and patch management
  • Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices and phishing prevention
  • Respond to incidents and assist with forensic investigations

Systems & Infrastructure
  • Help maintain secure cloud and on-premise environments
  • Support VPNs, switches, wireless access points, and other network components
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, ideally in a construction or multi-site setting
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, MFA, endpoint protection)
  • Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking - Intune, Mole
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
