Technical Product Manager – Hybrid Contract Role
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Rate: $65/hr

A leading team in the digital commerce space is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead discovery and roadmap efforts for a product undergoing strategic transformation. This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level product professional with a strong technical background and a track record of delivering scalable solutions in complex environments.

You’ll be responsible for capturing the current state of the product, defining the desired future state, and driving alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Your work will directly influence roadmap priorities and long-term product strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product discovery and document current and future product states to guide development.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand legacy systems and define future architecture.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to assess feasibility and impact of proposed changes.
  • Drive technical discussions and act as a liaison between engineering and business teams.
  • Own and evolve the capability roadmap for your assigned squad/team.
  • Use data and analytics to inform product decisions and feature prioritization.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and blockers to leadership with clarity and consistency.
  • Document system behavior and implementation details for internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Engineering roles.
  • Proven success in leading product strategy and roadmap development in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, web services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Advanced proficiency in writing business and functional requirements.
  • Skilled in collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques to support product decisions.
