Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Java/Python Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a confident, self-motivated developer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise-level applications. This role involves working across Java/J2EE and Python platforms, integrating modern frameworks and tools to deliver high-impact solutions. The position includes responsibilities in project delivery, technical leadership, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Operations
  • Design, develop, test (manual and automated), deploy, and support enterprise applications
  • Build and maintain test automation suites using Selenium and JUnit
  • Deliver projects using Agile methodologies
  • Implement complex integrations using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and industry-standard technologies
  • Conduct performance tuning and stress testing of models
  • Address software security vulnerabilities

Technical Leadership
  • Lead impact assessments, effort analysis, and task assignments
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure best practices
  • Mentor and onboard new team members through knowledge transfer sessions

Production Support
  • Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues
  • Resolve defects and ensure stable, high-quality releases


Required Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in IT, with strong hands-on development in Java and/or Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in:
    • Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Flask
    • SQL (DB2, Postgres, Sybase, MySQL), MongoDB (MQL)
    • Front-end: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
    • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Eclipse, IntelliJ, VSCode
    • Version Control: Git, Bitbucket
    • Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Selenium
    • Messaging & Streaming: Kafka, AMQ, JMS
    • Monitoring: ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace
    • Scripting: Shell, Autosys
    • APIs: RESTful, GraphQL
    • Machine Learning Tools: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, SHAP
