Position: Full-Stack Python/React Engineer
Industry: Manufacturing and Logistics
Type: 12 months contract
Location: Austin, TX (3x hybrid)
Interviews: 1 round with Collabera -> 1 virtual round with client -> 1 on-site round with client
Day to day:
- Participate in a daily standup meeting with the team to report on the progress made on the current sprint cycle and identify any blockers.
- Scope out a queue of tickets from users of the apps and tools each sprint and quarter to best allocate available working hours among the team.
- Join weekly meetings with team leadership.
- Occasionally meet with users to discuss their requests in detail.
- When not in meetings, work on developing new web- and mobile-based applications.
- Travel may include site visits to learn more about the products the tools support, as well as team-building events.
- Resolve any emergent requests or outages quickly.
Must haves:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Need a full stack developer with more emphasis on front end need.
- At least 5+ years of SDE and tool/app-building experience.
- Experience with the AWS tech stack (S3, Lambda, EC2, etc) , JavaScript, React, or similar mobile-focused libraries.
- Demonstrated strength in full-stack development, with a focus on front-end and UI/UX.
- Experience working on and delivering end-to-end projects independently.
- Strong business communication skills.
Plusses:
- 7+ years of experience as an SDE developing mobile and web-based solutions in a company with large, complex data sources and integrations.
- Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets.
- Experience with automations using various AWS technologies.
- Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and describe data modeling decisions and engineering strategy.
Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $52 - $55 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
