Job Details

Role Overview
The Azure Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This includes provisioning resources, ensuring security compliance, optimizing costs, managing user access, and supporting application and infrastructure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Azure resources: Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure Active Directory, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, etc.
Configure and monitor Azure services using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Implement and manage security policies, RBAC, Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Key Vault.
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Monitor and optimize Azure costs using Azure Cost Management and budgeting tools.
Handle backup and disaster recovery using Azure Backup, ASR (Azure Site Recovery).
Manage patching, updates, and compliance of Azure resources.
Support hybrid cloud environments (on-premises + Azure) using Azure Arc or ExpressRoute.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Troubleshoot performance issues across networking, compute, and application layers.
Ensure best practices in identity and access management (IAM) using Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
Required Skills and Qualifications
3 7 years of experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Azure core services.
Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting automation.
Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
Knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, VPNs, NSGs, VNet peering, and routing.
Understanding of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies in Azure.
Good understanding of Azure Security and Compliance frameworks (CIS, ISO, NIST).
Certification preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
