Job Details
Position: Oracle PL/SQL Consultant Location: onsite Houston TX Duration: 6-12months
Job Description:
- Should have more than 8 years of experience as Oracle DB Developer
- Solid understanding of relational DBMS concepts and designing enterprise solutions
- Extensive experience with Oracle 12c and/or similar versions
- Sound experience in designing, developing and maintaining database objects such as schemas, tables, standard and materialized views, synonyms, indexes, constraints, triggers, sequences, cursors
- Deep understanding of complex SQL queries and sub-queries and related experience (mainly Oracle)
- Extensive experience with PL/SQL programming
- Extensive knowledge of PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
- Extensive experience with Oracle DBMS packages
- Extensive experience with scheduling DBMS jobs using oracle and external procedures.
- Experience with SQL Loader and Extensive experience with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer/Toad
- Very good understanding of DB performance tuning and monitoring (including concepts such as partitioning)
- Experience with Oracle DB administration
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Hospitality industry (Timeshare) background is preferred but not a must
- Should liaise with key stakeholders of client for Architectural Design and decisions
