Position: CI/CD DevOps Engineer (15+ years experienced candidates)

Location: Stamford CT

Duration: 6+ months


Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications hosted on AWS Cloud and on-premises systems. Help streamline existing system.

Automate code promotion processes from Dev QA Production across multiple environments.

Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts, and support container orchestration in AWS EKS clusters.

Support deployment and configuration of apps written in Ruby, .NET, add Java, Python, and mention mobile applications and other languages on Windows and Linux servers.

Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment workflows and reduce manual interventions.

Implement and enforce Git best practices including branching strategy, pull request reviews, merge policies, and commit hygiene.

Work closely with teams to guide and educate developers on proper Git usage and DevOps standards.

Set up and manage CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.

Define infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Monitor build/deployment pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve processes for reliability and efficiency.

Maintain documentation for CI/CD processes and environments.

Required Qualifications:

Overall 15 years of experience and 8+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.

Proven experience building CI/CD solutions in AWS Cloud environments.

Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Windows and Linux.

Experience promoting Ruby on Rails, .NET, or similar applications through multiple environments.

Strong Git skills, including managing pull requests, branching strategies, and resolving conflicts.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead and mentor team members.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
