Celonis Configuration Engineer

Introduction: The Celonis Configuration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom OCPM models and process connectors within the Celonis platform to drive process efficiency, compliance, and business insights for a New York Utility Service Project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in process mining, advanced SQL & PQL scripting, and technical development within Celonis.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design & Develop: Build and implement custom OCPM models within Celonis to enhance business process efficiency and compliance.
  2. Custom Connectors: Design and develop custom process connectors to integrate Celonis with various data sources.
  3. Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize PQL and SQL Vertica to extract, process, and analyze data, generating actionable insights and reports.
  4. Understanding of SAP S4 Finance, Treasury, and Procurement Modules.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Experience: Minimum 3+ years of documented Celonis development experience, with expertise in custom OCPM models.
  3. Technical Proficiency:
    • PQL & SQL Vertica – Ability to write complex queries for data analysis and manipulation.
    • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation & troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools for building dashboards and reports.
  4. Certifications: Celonis certification(s) or equivalent in each relevant area.
  5. Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation within process mining initiatives.
