Technical Program/Product Manager

Job Description
The TPM will provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

- An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science (or related field) plus 3-5 years industry experience as a software developer or technical lead is required
- Good track record of working effectively with across different groups in the organization
- A record of successful delivery of software products from conception through business case and customer deployment
- Ability to work the business side of projects to drive deployment of new products
- An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
- Excellent written and oral communication
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing data and production cycles
- Compiling payload for OTA (Over-The-Air)updates
- Sending daily email tracking on payload status and blocking issues
- Providing updates and status reports to various stakeholders
- Coordinating with QA for beta program signoffs
- Working on beta homeworks, surveys, and release notes
- Collaborating closely with the QA team and beta team
Group: Team is responsible for release management for products. They work on a data and production cycle for these products. The team's work involves creating documentation and reports that are read by senior leadership. The organization seems to be structured to handle various aspects of product development and release, including development, quality assurance, beta testing, and release management.
