What you'll do...

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Project Oversight: Direct the design, development, and deployment of ML models-including GenAI models-ensuring technical rigor and business relevance.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and success metrics.
• System Reliability: Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of ML systems in production environments.
• Performance Monitoring: Oversee the evaluation and optimization of model performance, including accuracy, latency, and resource efficiency.
• Innovation & Research: Stay current with advancements in ML and GenAI, and guide the team in adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
• Roadmap Development: Collaborate with leadership to define and implement ML strategies, roadmaps, and long-term vision.
• Operational Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of ML initiatives.

What you'll bring to the team...

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading ML teams and delivering complex ML projects in production environments.
• Deep expertise in ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and spaCy.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML development workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, transformers).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

It would be even better if you also had...

• Direct experience as a manager in a previous role.
• Experience with Generative AI.

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range

$125,500.00 - $200,800.00/Yr.
