Position: Field Service Engineer (Full-Time)
Location: Woburn, MA

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team supporting thermal cooling systems. This hands-on, customer-facing role involves diagnosing, repairing, and providing both in-person and remote technical support for our equipment. You ll also handle service documentation, equipment return logistics, and technical feedback. While based in Woburn, Massachusetts, this position includes regional travel, with occasional travel throughout North America and internationally.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel regionally and occasionally across North America; some international travel may be required.

  • Deliver remote troubleshooting assistance to customers and third-party service providers.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service issues in the company database.

  • Provide rotating, after-hours technical support to our global customer base using a company-issued phone.

  • Manage the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process and communicate status updates to customers.

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation to support our cooling systems.

  • Relay customer feedback and design insights to internal teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to field engineers and project managers.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Trade School Certification in HVAC/R or Electronics Technology.

  • EPA Universal Certification required.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a field service role.

  • At least 3 years of experience working with project teams, contractors, and directly with customers.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly with Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and electromechanical systems.

  • Ability to interpret customer specifications and apply technical solutions accordingly.

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, customer-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

  • Experience in Liquid Cooling technologies.

  • Understanding of PLC systems and interfaces (e.g., RS485, Ethernet).

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to travel as required.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in a related technical field.
