Sentara Health is seeking an Informatica Data Quality Engineer to join our team!

This position is 100% Remote -Candidates must have a current residence in one of the follow states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming !

Job Description :

The Data Quality engineer provides continuous automated and manual testing of data sets for use in internal data systems and for delivery from internal systems. Such data sets can be in several formats. The data quality engineer works in the data technology and development team with the senior staff data engineer and the data engineer.



Responsibilities:

The data quality engineer will responsible for


  • writing testing plans and routines, manage the continuous integration and regression testing processes.



  • Be the point of contact person for clearing data for release according to delivery specifications.



  • The engineer must be able to function effectively in a high-volume, rapid delivery environment in which publicly available data must meet data, security, and accessibility specifications without fail.



Additional responsibilities:



  • Work with product managers and development leads to create testing, data profiling, and validation strategies.



  • Work with data engineers to develop automated tests.



  • Design, monitor, and maintain QA reports, KPIs & quality trends for the internal data systems.



  • Create test plans and test cases.



  • Execute and automate test cases and perform bug tracking.



  • Help create and implement quality processes and requirements.



Basic Qualifications:



  • Knowledgeable about industry data compliance strategies and practices, such as continuous integration, regression testing, and versioning.



  • 5+ years Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) experience required.



  • QA Automation Experience required.



Preferred Skills:

-Ability to read/write SQL queries is a plus.

-Experience working in an Azure Data environment, dealing with large diverse data sets.

-Experience with Python is a plus.



  • Required Education :



Bachelor's in computer science or information systems or relevant experience

Provides support for assigned environments. Works with clinical hospital staff, medical staff, and the IT technical/application teams. Will be facility or regionally based in an effort to maximize adoption of technology as an enabler of clinical workflow both in the hospital and in the physician office.\r \r Familiarity/Physician workflow experience required. Knowledge of Clinical Information Systems required.
