About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in the MERN stack and a strong background in Java-based microservices. This is a hands-on leadership role where you ll drive the migration of existing NestJS services to a modern Java microservices architecture.
This is a 100% onsite opportunity in Newark, CA, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions
- Migrate existing NestJS services to Java-based microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define architecture
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and post-implementation validation
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience as a Lead Developer
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with React, NestJS, and MongoDB
- Proven track record of leading development teams and managing large-scale projects
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Experience with system troubleshooting, unit testing, and legacy system upgrades
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)

Work Schedule:
