Job Title: Collateral Management Business Analyst 

Location: New York City (Remote Flex)

About the Company: We are a leading investment bank that focuses on providing a wide array of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals. We are at the forefront of driving change in the financial industry and are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Collateral Management team. 

Role Summary: As a Business Analyst within our Collateral Management team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of "Colline" – our premier collateral management system. You will be responsible for capturing business requirements, operational processes, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our collateral management business. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for Colline. 
  • Analyze existing collateral management operations and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and compliance. 
  • Act as a liaison between the business users and IT professionals to ensure requirements are translated into technical specifications. 
  • Facilitate the successful implementation of Colline by coordinating with both the business and technical teams. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users post-implementation. 
  • Manage project deliverables and timelines, ensuring milestones are met. 
  • Perform user acceptance testing and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes that impact collateral management and ensure the system complies with all relevant laws and regulations. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience within an investment bank or financial services environment. 
  • Prior experience with collateral management systems, specifically Colline, is highly preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of collateral management business processes and operational workflows. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • A proven track record of managing complex projects with tight deadlines. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications in business analysis are a plus.
