Title: Senior Substation Physical Engineer

Location: Knoxville, TN 37932

Duration: Full-Time



Description:

• Utilize AutoCAD to create assigned deliverables
• Meet customer's schedule and budget requirements
• Perform Physical design with a high degree of accuracy
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
• Perform careful self-checking activities to ensure the quality of work before it is presented to peers for independent reviews.
• Check/review other personnel's work for accuracy/adherence to client/national standards
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and occasionally oversee other designers and engineers to complete projects on time and on budget
• Perform project scoping activities
• Mentor junior engineers and designers

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Substation Engineering
• Engineering Design

Preferred Skills:

• CAD
• Autodesk

Experience:

• 10 or more years of relevant project experience with at least 7 years of experience functioning as a design engineer

Licenses & Certifications:

• Prof Engineering (PE)
