Windchill Developer- Remote

Role: Windchill Developer, onsite in West Chester, PA /Remote - Full-time

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Over 6+ years of hands-on experience in Windchill PLM Customization, expertise in Windchill Data Model, Windchill customization, Java development, and SQL, also have knowledge in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain, specifically focusing on customer interaction, understanding business processes, requirements analysis, and the administration and verification/validation of proposed solution approaches.
• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and enhancements for customers Windchill PLM, user requirements, and technical designs.
• Help squad members in problem-solving technical challenges, providing guidance on the implementation of effective solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and adhere to the SAFe Agile framework to ensure the timely delivery of Program Increment (PI) objectives.
• Stay abreast of Windchill PLM enhancements and best practices, providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist in training team members on new features and functionalities within the Windchill PLM system.
• Collaborate with the team during story refinement, technical design discussions, and effort estimation to ensure well-defined tasks and timelines.
• Strong Understanding of Windchill Architecture. Able to lead technical implementation teams in analyzing business requirements and contribute to the design of PTC Solutions intended to address complex customer business processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -

• PTC Windchill
• Experience with Windchill UI customizations using JCA, wizards, data utilities, validators, action framework, form processors, MVC builders, JSP, etc.
• Experience with Windchill Type and Attribute Manager and various types of attributes.
• Experience with Windchill Listener framework.
• Experience with Windchill data model.
• Experience with Windchill Business rules.
• Experience with customizing Windchill Change Management data model and workflows
• Experience with the functionality of Change, Part, BOM, and Document Management.
• Experience with tools like Eclipse, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices like Agile.
• Experience with Basic, practical knowledge of relational database architectures, and can query Windchill Oracle databases using SQL statements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Over 6+ years of hands-on experience in the IT industry with expertise in leading the team of developers and expertise in Windchill Data Model, Windchill customization, Java developer and SQL also have knowledge in the Product Lifecycl e Management (PLM) domain, specifically focusing on customer interaction, understanding business processes, requirements analysis, and the administration and verification/validation of proposed solution approaches.
• Aware of Business and System Administration, GUI, lifecycle, and Workflow customization.
• Knowledge and experience in the medical devices domain is preferred
• Knowledge of the Release process, BOM management, Change Management, and CAD Integration.
• Good understanding of Windchill database and its table architecture.
• Hands-on experience on ETL process and Customization.
• Ability to develop utilities to assist Migration activity
• Good problem-solving skills
• Must have strong Experience in Installation and configuration of PTC software, Windchill Data Model, Java development, SQL Windchill Customization, GUI development, Unit Testing, and Debugging.
• Should be able to Design Solutions for Windchill Implementation projects.
• Strong Understanding of Windchill Architecture. Able to lead technical implementation teams in analyzing business requirements and contribute to the design of PTC Solutions intended to address complex customer business processes.
• Familiar with Windchill enhancement, configuration, and change process improvements.
• Provides input into the future software functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards.
• Should understand database administration, database design. Knowledge of quality processes and their implementation.
• Good Knowledge of Windchill Product suites. Strong debugging skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.. Strong communication skills
• Should be proficient in working on Java enterprise platform and broad technologies, including Java language, JavaScript, Web service, etc. Relevant certificates are a plus.
• Preferred experience with the following methodologies and tools: Agile, DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Thing Worx experience is a plus
• Knowledge of the Release process, BOM management, Change Management, and CAD Integration.
• Good understanding of Windchill database and its table architecture.
