Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Quality Engineering role, which includes both manual and automated testing.
  • Candidate will be working in the Global Payments wing, testing new payment flow implementations such as FED ISO, SWIFT ISO, and FED NOW, implementing our new IPF core functionality.
  • The candidate will demonstrate the ability to work on complex systems, specifically applications that interact with other applications.
  • The candidate won t need to develop automation from scratch, as the framework for this testing is already developed, but they should demonstrate an understanding of how multiple systems interact and are tested.
  • Candidate should have significant Selenium Java automation skills, as well as the ability to work in a complex environment involving multiple interfacing applications. Should have experience with not just UI test validation, but backend testing using file transfers, APIs, and XML mapping.
  • They should have an understanding of the under-the-covers data transmission between multiple systems and how to test them.
  • Experience with coordinating with team members representing those other applications.
  • They should have experience building end to end automation tests across multiple systems.
  • Automation should not be restricted to UI only testing, so the candidate should demonstrate an ability to leverage java selenium for validating non-UI transactions such as API calls, Database calls, File transmissions, and/or data retrieval from offline files.
  • The tester should also be familiar with developing java selenium tests and integrating them into a devops CI/CD pipeline leveraging Jenkins so that the tests are re-executed during each deployment.
