Location: New York, NY - onsite (local candidates only!)
Duration: 6 months



Axiom Developer
We are looking to onboard contractors to allow us to perform functional component testing across 5 reports that will be automated as part of this second phase of the Axiom Implementation. The five reports we are looking to automate include the FRY9C, FFIEC 002, and the FFIEC 031, which are all call reports submitted to Client (on a quarterly basis) for the IHC, the NY Branch and the Client respectively. These 3 reports are all large, and include many schedules that require information from the Financials (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) and subledger(s) for these reporting schemas.
Additionally, the two other reports in scope for this Axiom Phase delivery include the FRY15 (Systemic Risk Report) and the FFIEC 009 (Country Exposure Report) which are also critical reports (with multiple schedules) that are filed quarterly to Client.
The resources which we are looking to onboard would be expected to perform functional component testing for these reports, aimed at identifying report development issues / bugs or changes needed ahead of the formal UAT.

Skill sets needed:
o In-depth experience with Axiom (Addenza) system
o Experience with JIRA (raising new, updating and closing)
o Test scripts / test case development up updating
o Product knowledge and applicability of products to Reg reporting
o Excel skills

Work will focus on several areas including:
o Test case development and documentation specific to the report/schedule being reviewed
o Report schedule development review for accuracy and completeness
o Line level (MDRM) data review to ensure completeness, identifying gaps and or data quality issues
o System functionality testing (drill through capabilities, report generation and data loading abilities, etc.)
o Historical report versioning and accessibility checks
o Workflow process review and testing
o Version saving and locking functionality
o Submission capabilities review
o Maker / checker review
o Cross checks and inter series validation
o Issue escalation and participation in working groups aimed to remediate and close
o Results reporting

o Product knowledge and applicability of products to Reg reporting (FRY-15,FRY-9C, Call Reports, FFIEC002 and FFIEC009A.)

Roles & Responsibilities
Axiom developers who understands various capital market product nuances along with prior experience in implementing FRY-15,FRY-9C, Call Reports, FFIEC002 and FFIEC009A.
- These developers are expected to own an end to end deliverable including data analysis upstream, data sourcing and building allocation rules.
- At least 5+ years of relevant Axiom experience, working with large SQL queries, python programming and design patterns needed for these regulatory reports.
- Exposure to Agile concepts, clear communication skills and be ability to interact with business users and explain the issues. In addition need exposure to build automation testing for Axiom , upgrading platform and CICD experience.
- Perform analysis of user stories that may include complex functionalities
- Conduct high and low level design, development, testing, coding and issue/query resolutions
- Perform unit testing, integration testing while participating in configuration management and deployment procedures
- Participate in UAT/production support activities
