Job Title: Release Train Engineer Remote Role (W2 Only) - Insurance Domain

Contract Duration: 18 months (with possible extension)

Location: REMOTE

Pay Range: $48/hr to $55/hr
(Negotiable depending on experience & engagement terms)

Job Description:


We are seeking a Release Train Engineer to oversee and manage software releases in a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate will coordinate across multiple teams to ensure smooth deployments, maintain release schedules, and drive process improvements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases, ensuring timely and successful deployments.

2.Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to define release scope, schedules, and dependencies.

3.Oversee the release lifecycle, from planning and development to testing and deployment.

4.Identify risks and resolve issues that may impact release timelines or quality.

5.Ensure compliance with release management processes, best practices, and ITIL standards.

6.Maintain and improve release management tools, documentation, and workflows.

7.Conduct post-release reviews, gather feedback, and implement process improvements.

8.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and minimize disruptions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1.8+ years of experience in release management, software deployment, or DevOps roles.

2.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).

3.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

4.Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management best practices.

5.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

6.Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

7.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications.

2.Experience in regulated industries such as finance, or insurance.
