Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to support a state government client. This role is primarily remote (East Coast hours) with occasional visits to the client office as required. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with large, complex datasets in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for state government and enterprise use cases
• Work with structured and unstructured data to build scalable AI solutions
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and client stakeholders
• Translate business and program requirements into AI-driven solutions
• Monitor, maintain, and improve model performance in production
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards
• Participate in meetings during East Coast business hours and attend onsite sessions when required

Required Qualifications:

• 4 5 years of experience as an AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and deployment practices
• Experience integrating ML models into production systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with government or enterprise clients
