  • Our Opportunity:

    We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer III at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to apply artificial intelligence and/or machine learning methods to design, test and scale effective, reliable frameworks, systems, and models to improve the usefulness of big data and predictive applications.

    What You'll Do:
    • Develop, implement, and adjust artificial intelligence / machine learning algorithms and tools to solve complex data challenges and to improve quality and reliability of data.
    • Develop machine learning applications according to requirements; design, code, test, deploy and iterate on large-scale and complex machine learning systems.
    • Research and remain current on machine learning and optimization techniques.
    • Help shape the direction of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
    • Work with data scientists, application developers, product managers and software engineers to develop and support software for new machine learning products.
    • Develop data driven, insightful end-to-end software solutions using machine learning and optimization methods to answer questions, with a focus on root-causing.
    • Enable Chewy management to make informed, data-driven decisions by providing business analyses and building advanced data science models.
    • 5% domestic travel required.

    What You'll Need:
    • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 5 years of experience.
    • Will also accept PhD degree and 2 years of experience.
    • Experience must include 2 years in: developing predictive and machine learning models;
    • Amazon Web Services, S3, EC2;
    • Looker;
    • Experience must include 1 year in: CDK, API gateway, VPC, ECR, EKS, IAM, secrets manager, Redshift, snowflake, Hamilton, airflow, datadog, gitlab, PyTorch, ChatGPT, SAP data intelligence, SAP Cloud Analytics, SAP Intelligent asset management, Python, git, Jupyter, STAN, Tableau, Kubernetes, SQL.
    • 5% domestic travel required.
    • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Base Salary Range

$190,486-$249,000 USD
