Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC / Dallas, TX(Remote). This role focuses on designing scalable data flow solutions using Apache NiFi and integrating with cloud platforms and microservices.
Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement scalable data flow solutions using Apache NiFi, including defining sources, destinations, and transformation logic.
- Manage data ingestion and transformation from various sources such as files, databases, and APIs to support downstream systems.
- Configure routing and enrichment processes within NiFi to enhance data with metadata like timestamps and location.
- Maintain and optimize NiFi clusters, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Integrate microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) to support data validation and conditioning workflows.
- Troubleshoot data flow issues and resolve configuration errors, ensuring data quality and system integrity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and NiFi-based solutions.
- Deep expertise in Apache NiFi architecture, cluster management, and data flow optimization.
- Proficiency in Java or Python, and experience integrating NiFi with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
