Product Owner Data Focused

seeking a skilled and driven IT Product Owner with a strong background in data-related projects to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating business needs into actionable product stories, managing a focused set of products, and ensuring that backlogs are prioritized, hydrated, and refined for successful delivery. This role will directly support our brand, marketing, and generosity initiatives within our insurance, membership, and generosity product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
? Product Ownership: Manage and oversee 1?2 data-related products, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and stakeholder priorities.
? Backlog Management:
? Facilitate backlog hydration and refinement sessions.
? Clear and prioritize backlog items to ensure timely delivery of high-value features.
? Requirements & Story Articulation: Clearly articulate user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for the development team.
? Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate documentation of product requirements, features, and releases; ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.
? Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, brand, and generosity-focused teams, to ensure product solutions meet evolving needs.
? Team Motivation: Inspire and guide development teams to maintain momentum and engagement throughout delivery cycles.

Qualifications
? Proven experience as a Product Owner in IT and data-focused projects.
? Strong understanding of data concepts, data analytics, and data-driven product development.
? Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
? Hands-on experience managing product backlogs and writing well-defined user stories.
? Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
? Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
