Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Azure Databricks Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a proven track record of implementing end-to-end data solutions using modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable data warehouse solutions using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into the data pipeline.
- Lead architectural discussions and whiteboarding sessions during in-person design meetings at BJC Commons.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance through effective use of Unity Catalog and Azure-native tools.
- Support knowledge transfer and cross-training initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure Databricks and Delta Lake
- AI/ML integration within data pipelines
- Unity Catalog for data governance
- Familiarity with Data Vault modeling and implementation
- Experience with Wherescape Red and Wherescape 3D
- Solid understanding of Azure Cloud services and Azure Fabric
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
