Job Details

Our client is seeking a Remote Senior UX/UI Developer to join their team. You will be working alongside two other developers, a project manager, and an architect and interacting with business stakeholders. Strong communication skills and the ability to estimate tasks accurately are crucial for this role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JavaScript and experience in VueJS, with a focus on translating designs from Figma into responsive user interfaces, optimizing for speed and performance, and ensuring accessibility and SEO best practices.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project manager, architect, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Translate designs from Figma into high-quality, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VueJS.
  • Optimize web applications for speed, performance, accessibility, and SEO, ensuring they meet Google's Web Core Vitals benchmarks.
  • Estimate the time required for development tasks and communicate progress to the project manager and business stakeholders.
  • Take part in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback with other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI development, JavaScript, VueJS, accessibility, SEO, and Google's Web Core Vitals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, VueJS, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
  • Experience translating designs from Figma or similar tools into live, responsive websites.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques and experience hitting Google's Web Core Vitals benchmarks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience implementing accessible designs.
  • Familiarity with metadata formats and SEO best practices.
