Title : Public Relations Strategist III

Location : Los Angeles ,CA

Responsibilities

External Communications

  • Develop and execute innovative, strategic PR campaigns, with a strong emphasis on music PR (approx. 80%), and supporting animation and consumer products initiatives (approx. 20%).
  • Support and manage ongoing awards campaign for Arcane Season 2, including awards submissions and campaign coordination.
  • Write tailored press materials, including pitches, press releases, media alerts, and executive talking points.
  • Proactively pitch and secure press opportunities, including interviews with key stakeholders and talent.
  • Represent Entertainment on-site at Los Angeles events, with flexibility for occasional travel and in-person activations.

Internal Collaboration

  • Liaise regularly with Games PR, Esports PR, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated strategy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, especially the Games Music, Events, Consumer Products and Finance teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track campaign success and make strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Compile comprehensive media coverage reports and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update presentation decks as needed.
  • Coordinate and book travel for talent and executives related to PR campaigns and events.

Required Qualifications

  • Based in Los Angeles and able to attend in-person events and meetings.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Entertainment and Music PR, with a strong portfolio of earned media and campaign leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with executives and talent in public-facing environments.
  • Experience building and executing PR strategies that span music, television/animation, and consumer products.
  • Proven track record in writing compelling press materials and securing media coverage in top-tier outlets.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, cross-functional work and collaborating across departments and disciplines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling internal reporting and logistics like deck updates and travel coordination.
