Description

Robert Half is recruiting for a Content Migration Strategist to join the HR Employee Experiences team at a leading global financial services organization. This role will focus on content migration from SharePoint to ServiceNow, along with auditing, refining, and creating digital content that improves employee self-service experiences. You'll use your skills in UX, information architecture, and microcopy to make content clear, findable, and actionable for internal audiences, including employees and customer service representatives.

This is a high-volume, execution-focused role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and proven experience in content design within regulated industries.

Content Strategist - HR Employee Experiences

Location: Newark, DE; Jersey City, NJ; or Columbus, OH (5 days onsite)

Contract Duration: 1 year, with potential to extend or convert to full-time

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay: $40-45/hour

Responsibilities
  • Lead the migration of HR content from SharePoint to ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with UX and information architecture best practices.
  • Perform a comprehensive content audit to identify outdated, redundant, or unclear information and recommend improvements.
  • Write, edit, and publish microcopy and long-form content that supports employee self-service, chatbot training, and search engine optimization for internal platforms.
  • Organize content logically within the information architecture to improve findability and navigation.
  • Collaborate with product subject matter experts to review, approve, and publish updated content.
  • Manage multiple content requests and projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Maintain and refresh evergreen content on topics such as benefits, compensation, and career development.
  • Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and accessibility standards.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of corporate writing experience, preferably in HR, employee communications, or customer service content.
  • Proven ability to deliver content migration projects with high attention to detail.
  • Strong UX writing skills with an understanding of information architecture principles and microcopy best practices.
  • Experience conducting a content audit and improving content based on findings.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar content management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience writing within a regulated industry is strongly preferred.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with HTML and technical content management.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and terminology.
  • Familiarity with using AI or LLM tools to enhance writing and content strategy.
