Job Description:
Job Title: Web Application Developer (No C2C Available)

Responsibilities
- Design and creation of responsive and adaptive web-based application interfaces for the manipulation of large amounts of machine generated data in either textual or graphical format;
- Utilize secure coding practices while ensuring the user experience is intuitive on both traditional and mobile clients;
- Assistance creating documentation and training on the use of the application interfaces developed
- Work closely with integration and test teams, systems engineers, customer representatives, and program leadership to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Apply best practices in web app design and architecture to create user-friendly and efficient applications
- Solve complex problems with innovative solutions while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Implement unit testing and debugging to optimize application performance and reliability.
- Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability
- Refactor and optimize legacy code, improving readability, reducing technical debt, and enhancing maintainability.
- Enhance data-driven applications, building dashboards, automated workflows, and visualizations.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in web application development
- Strong background in application development, particularly with expertise in React and TypeScript for front-end development, and Java for back-end services
- Experience with problem/incident management (understanding where the application would fail)
- Experience with the following skills: React.js on Vite, Apache Tomcat, Java on Springboot, REST API development, Linux, SQL, Oracle DB, Agile/Secure web app development, Secure FTP.
- Secondary Skills - JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, CS7, SFTP
- Previous Financial/Banking experience (Preferred)
