Essential Functions:
- Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry-standard testing tools.
- Execute performance tests, analyze and evaluate test results, generate performance metric reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist in analyzing test and operational problems to determine the presence and scope of potential code defects.
- Report errors using a structured defect tracking process and communicate weekly with management via verbal and written status reports.
- Review and analyze business and system requirements and specifications to determine performance testability.
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of testing tools and expand business knowledge of product functionality, corporate policies, and departmental procedures.
- Collaborate with functional testers and development counterparts to ensure adequate performance test coverage for upcoming releases.
- Monitor and adapt to system changes that impact performance testing.
- Assist and coordinate with customers to research, analyze, and propose solutions to test discrepancies and scenarios.
- Verify customer satisfaction and gather necessary information to create accurate test data.
- Participate in project work group meetings, such as internal/external peer reviews, walkthroughs, status meetings, and PI planning sessions.
- Take part in system architecture change reviews and assess impacts on system capacity.
- Benchmark and monitor system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience with Tricentis NeoLoad, including functionality, scripting capabilities, and integration for load testing.
- Ability to write scripts to automate test cases and integrate NeoLoad into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience migrating test scripts from LoadRunner to NeoLoad.
- Experience integrating NeoLoad with Selenium for end-to-end performance validation.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts, techniques, and different types of system performance tests.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as OpenText Performance Center / LoadRunner and Datadog.
- Experience with at least two relational database management systems (e.g., DB2, Oracle, MongoDB).
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Jira and other defect tracking tools.
- Strong understanding of system and application monitoring, server, network, virtualization, and database concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA/testing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the healthcare industry.
