Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role involves overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring systems run smoothly, and implementing innovative solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to managing IT resources and projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize system performance and security.
Manage and maintain hardware, software, and network systems to ensure seamless operations.
Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
Establish and oversee data security protocols, backup solutions, and disaster recovery plans.
Monitor and analyze system performance, addressing any issues or inefficiencies in a timely manner.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts for services and products.
Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring they can effectively utilize IT resources.
Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance organizational capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity measures, and cloud-based systems.
Strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, backup technologies, and configuration management.
Familiarity with Cisco technologies and computer hardware.
Knowledge of cloud ERP systems and enterprise-level software solutions.
