Overview
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions. Act as a strategic advisor, defining architecture, integrations, performance optimization, and governance to ensure long-term platform success. Occasional U.S.-based travel may be required for on-site client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Solution Design
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs and roadmaps.
- Lead architecture across modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC), ensuring alignment with ITIL and organizational goals.
- Technical Leadership & Governance
- Set architectural direction, coding standards, and governance frameworks; review code and guide best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions; mentor consultants, developers, and analysts.
- Integration & Automation
- Architect seamless integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, APIs) and automation flows between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Platform Optimization & Upgrades
- Oversee platform health: perform performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and adherence to compliance/security standards.
- Documentation & Training
- Produce technical design docs, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge-base content; provide training and thought leadership.
- Customer Partnership & Strategy
- Serve as trusted advisor; define roadmaps, propose enhancements, and guide clients on licensing, modules, and new platform capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor s or Master s in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 12+ years in enterprise IT, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow architecture and implementations.
- Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC).
- Strong skills in scripting (JavaScript, Glide, UI Policies), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP, CMDB, CSDM.
- Demonstrated architecture design, performance optimization, and integration experience.
- Certifications (highly preferred)
- CSA, CAD, CIS across multiple specialization modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HR, SAM, HAM, Security).
- Ideally ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA).
- Professional Competencies
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, ITIL frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
