Job Details
We are seeking a Data Architect to guide the Office of Data and Analytics to establish frameworks, patterns, automation, and appropriate solutions. Scope will also include assessing new technologies and providing recommendations for planning and implementation of those technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Data Architecture, Analysis, Reporting and Intelligence
- Advanced knowledge in Building Cloud Data repositories in various platforms including AWS, Azure, OCI and Google Cloud Platform
- Advanced knowledge of Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Cloud Data Warehouse and Hybrid Data Repositories
- Advanced knowledge in Building end to end data pipelines and infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling, database design, and ETL/ELT processes
- Advanced knowledge of MDM, Data Cataloging, Metadata, and Data Lineage best practices
- Intermediate knowledge in developing and maintaining Data Governance standards
Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and manage a data architecture including Architectural Diagrams. This includes defining and documenting the overall structure and organization of data, as well as the relationships and interactions between different data elements.
- Design, implement and document data models and database structures that align with business requirements.
- Design, implement and document data intake and optimization, data lakes, data house, big data analysis, AI for data analysis modeling, Azure/AWS data ingestion.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality by establishing data governance policies and standards.
- Develop and document strategies for data storage, backup, and recovery.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to optimize data flow and accessibility.
- Assist in the evaluate and selecting appropriate data storage technologies and platforms, to include, but not limited to; familiarity with ServiceNow, AWS, OCI, Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
