JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Omnistudio Tech Lead
DURATION: Long term
We are seeking an experienced OmniStudio Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) OmniStudio solutions. The role involves leading technical teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring best practices in architecture, development, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce OmniStudio (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, FlexCards) along with proven leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity) solutions.
- Design, configure, and develop OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and junior consultants.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and product owners to gather requirements and propose optimal solutions.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
- Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-go-live support.
- Stay updated with Salesforce Industries and OmniStudio latest releases and features.
- Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 8+ years of overall Salesforce development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in OmniStudio (Vlocity) development.
- Strong expertise in:
- OmniScripts (designing guided interactions)
- FlexCards (UI components)
- Integration Procedures (server-side processing)
- DataRaptors (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Experience with Salesforce Core (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Triggers).
- Proven experience leading technical teams in complex Salesforce projects.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security model, and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.
- Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant / Developer certifications preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
