Responsibilities:

- Resolve daily production-related issues on the both technical and functional side

- Resolve intra and end of day batch related issues

- Resolve issues encountered with workflows, reports (Datamarts), and integration points (Up/Downstream systems)

- Amend workflows, reports (Datamarts), and integration points (Up/Downstream systems) as a result of issues found from PRODUCTION support-related issues

- Resolve daily issues with Equity Total Return Swaps (must)

- Work closely and address issues from EQD and IRD Desk Traders

- Amend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, and simulations (sometimes)

- Resolve requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues

- Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables

- Liaise with technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve PRODUCTON support related issues and necessary enhancements

- Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation

- Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

- When required, develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along

- Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally

 

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Murex Workflows, Datamart Module, MxML Exchange

- Strong knowledge of Murex Production Support activities, including batch support

- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in supporting Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle

- Good product knowledge in EQD (IRD, CRD, FXD is a plus)

- Good understanding of Equity Total Return Swaps (TRS) Business

- Fair understanding of the P&L concept overall and its components

- Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong presentation skills

- Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally

- Strong experience in supporting Murex Production users and resolving their daily issues

- Some understanding of Market Risk Management

 

Must:

- 4+ yrs of previous experience in Murex Production support activities on the techno-functional side

- Previous experience with Murex Production Support on the technical (integration) side (workflow, datamart, environment management)

- SQL, Unix

- Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex

- Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills

- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter

- Possess good verbal and written communication skills

- Must have strong organizational skills

- Experience in financial markets

 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Debugging accounting issues would be an added advantage

- Exposure to building and supporting Datamarts

- Having an Agile experience a plus

- BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent

- Test management

- Trade life cycle management

- Market Data management

- Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus
