Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and administer Azure services including Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Cosmos DB, Function Apps, SQL DB, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Fabric.
  • Define and implement enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure for data lakes and microservices, including performance monitoring, alerting, and code lifecycle management.
  • Design and automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support CI/CD pipelines.
  • Architect and implement AI platforms that support machine learning, deep learning, and data science workflows.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI tools and frameworks, ensuring compatibility with enterprise systems and scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to enforce secure and compliant development and deployment practices.
  • Drive enterprise governance initiatives, ensuring SLA adherence and resilient infrastructure (backup, DR, monitoring).

Primary Skills:

  • Azure infrastructure administration with strong hands-on knowledge in Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Function Apps, SQL DB, ADLS Gen2, and Git.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, or similar).
  • Coding proficiency in Python or Scala; scripting knowledge with PowerShell or Bash is a plus.
  • Solid grasp of data architecture, APIs, and microservices.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and infrastructure testing practices.
  • Good understanding of AI and ML platform architecture and relevant frameworks.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, Power BI, APIM, Logic Apps, and AI/ML tooling.
  • Experience with data governance, platform monitoring, disaster recovery, and scalability optimization.
  • This is not a Data Azure Platform Architect
  • This is an Engineer role, focused on infrastructure
