Job Details

Title: TECHNICAL WRITER UCAAS/CCAAS INTEGRATIONS

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 24+Month Contract

Interview: Video interview

We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer with strong knowledge of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms. In this role, you will create clear, accurate, and customer-facing documentation to support SIP integrations, APIs, and deployment workflows. Your work will directly enable IT administrators, developers, and business users to successfully configure and troubleshoot integrations with leading platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Salesforce, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop integration guides, configuration instructions, and troubleshooting content for UCaaS/CCaaS platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and solution architects to gather technical knowledge.
  • Translate complex workflows into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Maintain consistency with company style guides, branding, and tone.
  • Contribute to ongoing updates as products and integrations evolve.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, PBX systems, call routing, conferencing, messaging, and APIs.
  • Experience documenting integrations with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, RingCentral, Five9, or Genesys.
  • Familiarity with networking basics (firewalls, VPNs, QoS, bandwidth).
  • Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and related documentation.
  • Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth2, SAML, SSO).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to adapt content for technical and semi-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Confluence, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and version control systems (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Hands-on testing and troubleshooting documentation experience preferred.
