Job Details

< data-start="1672" data-end="1704">Required Qualifications</>

  • 3 5 years of experience working with Snowflake, preferably in an analytics or engineering capacity.

  • Strong understanding of Snowflake pricing (compute, storage, and cloud services).

  • Proficiency in SQL, especially in monitoring metadata and query history (e.g., SNOWFLAKE.ACCOUNT_USAGE views).

  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to visualize cost/usage insights.

  • Solid background in FinOps, data operations, or cloud resource management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical cost insights to non-technical stakeholders.

< data-start="2319" data-end="2352">Preferred Qualifications</>

  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and how Snowflake integrates with each.

  • Familiarity with cost management tools like Cloudability, Apptio, or AWS Cost Explorer.

  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell) for automation of usage monitoring.

  • Certification in Snowflake (SnowPro Core or Advanced) or related cloud certifications.
