Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual responsible for testing, calibrating, and verifying new units to ensure full functionality before shipment. This role involves evaluating and repairing core equipment from both manufacturers and distributors, as well as handling returns from trade shows, charity events, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure each unit meets cosmetic and functional standards prior to shipping
  • Confirm equipment operates in accordance with client's specifications
  • Verify system completeness, including all required accessories and components
  • Provide feedback to the Senior QA Technician and Warehouse Manager regarding identified defects or issues
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results and calibration data
  • Customize imaging equipment based on customer orders
  • Request all necessary components to convert incoming units per order requirements
  • Perform testing and calibration procedures thoroughly
  • Complete paperwork for requested spare parts and share results with the Senior QA Technician/Warehouse Manager
  • Diagnose and repair equipment returned by customers
  • Track and document all parts used or requested for repairs
  • Follow final quality assurance procedures as defined by department standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate effectively with departments such as Customer Service, RMA, Shipping, and Parts
  • Stay current with client's product updates and developments in the dental industry
  • Monitor workflow in the absence of a supervisor or manager
  • Ensure adherence to all internal protocols and procedures
  • Consistently meet company standards for work quality and quantity
  • Uphold company policies and expected standards of workplace behavior
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and update computers to meet client's specifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Equipment handling experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer usage
  • Basic networking skills preferred

Skills & Abilities:

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines and goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Rate: $22-23/h
