Responsibilities:

  • Providing IT assistance to staff and employees.

  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.

  • Resolving user issues effectively and in a timely manner.

  • Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.

  • Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems as needed.

  • Documenting processes and technical knowledge.

  • Performing diagnostic tests and proper troubleshooting.

  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.

  • Consulting with IT managers, other team members, 3rd party vendors and other departments across the organizations as required.


Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.

  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries with the highest emphasis on customer service.

  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software.

  • Entry level knowledge of Networks is a bonus.

  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.

  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk software.

  • Experience in documenting processes.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
