Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc)

Technical certifications in multiple technologies are highly desirable
As a Hosted Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a secure and efficient enterprise infrastructure, delivering uninterrupted service to our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining a holistic view of all hosted enterprise systems and assisting in initial issue troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, and automation. Working closely with the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll drive quick and effective issue resolution and contribute to infrastructure innovation.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead troubleshooting efforts, create incident reports, and conduct root cause analysis

Participate in infrastructure design discussions and project planning alongside Senior Engineers

Maintain and develop scripts, Infrastructure as Code, and automation platforms

Provide monitoring insights and updates during application performance and outage incidents

Assist in visualizing systems architecture, topologies, hardware/software components, and system configurations

Perform scheduled tasks such as daily checklists and participate in on-call rotation

Strong expertise in Datacenter Routing & Switching, Firewalls, and network topology design (on-prem and cloud)

Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Proven experience designing, troubleshooting, and implementing SD-WAN/SDN networks using Cisco, VMware, FortiGate, and AWS
-
Knowledge of Clos networking architecture and its implementation

Advanced troubleshooting skills for high-priority issues in high-uptime environments

Familiarity with network technologies and protocols: NFS, VRFs, VNIs, VLANs, SNMP, Spanning-tree, DHCP, Kerberos

In-depth knowledge of network protocols including BGP, VxLAN, IPsec, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)

Experience with centralized firewall management (Fortigate and Palo Alto platforms)

Ability to evaluate new and existing software/products, resolve network issues, and deliver proactive solutions

Provide technical support for network access and troubleshooting

Basic Linux troubleshooting skills
