OIPA Senior Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled OIPA (Oracle Insurance Policy Administration) Senior Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OIPA development and implementation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain OIPA applications and components according to business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and customize OIPA features, workflows, and business rules.
• Perform system integration and data migration tasks to ensure seamless operation of OIPA within the existing IT ecosystem.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OIPA applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in OIPA technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an OIPA Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in OIPA, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Strong programming skills in Java and SQL.
• Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with insurance industry practices and concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• OIPA certification or relevant Oracle certifications.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern application architectures.
