What will you be doing?

The IT Material Planning team, based in St Louis, MO, specializes in custom applications built to provide valuable and accurate insights into material, resource, and value-added service constraints. We exist to enable easy, efficient, and simple planning solutions across our organization in order to deliver timely and accurate outcomes to our customers. If this resonates with you, and you re passionate about delivering high-quality solutions to meet our business demands, we d love to have you join us as a Solutions Architect: Full Stack Development. While St. Louis-based candidates are preferred, qualified US-based candidates will also be considered in a full-time remote capacity.

What to Expect

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team consisting of Developers, Analysts, Architects, and Product Owners. Team Members utilize a broad range of functional and technical skills and are encouraged to expand their functional knowledge and technical capabilities. You will be expected to be a forward-thinking leader on the team, understanding and helping to shape the new, emerging space of Supply Chain Planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, design, and implement scalable solutions in accordance with the architecture guidelines.
  • Lead discovery and proof-of-concept into new technologies and processes to improve delivery and user experience.
  • Evaluate current software and application architecture to identify and address gaps.
  • Analyze business processes, capture requirements, and experienced with technology delivery management tools (ServiceNow, VersionOne)
  • Mentor team members in the Supply Chain space in the development and delivery of product and process solutions
  • Identify the shortest route to fail fast to help speed up solution delivery.
  • Balance long-term planning, technical debt management, and operational load while shipping new features.
  • Help to establish and maintain short-term and long-term technical roadmaps.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • 10 + Years of Software Development or Application Integration experience
  • 5 + Years of Software Architecture Experience in different business domains Sales or Supply Chain
  • 5+ Years working in JavaScript and related Webapp and API development frameworks e.g., Node JS, Vue JS, Spring boot.
  • 5+ Years working in different relational and non-relational databases with a specific focus on data flow design.
  • 3+ Years of Technology Leadership Experience (direct reporting or dotted line with proven success metrics as defined by SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Full application lifecycle development experience using multiple frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience working with different messaging queue frameworks.

Qualifications/Certifications
  • Bachelors or master s in computer science or Management Information Systems or related field.
  • Any of the following listed certifications will have added advantages:
    • SAFe Architect
    • TOGAF 9
