Job Details
We re seeking a versatile TeamCenter Solution Architect & Developer with 5 10 years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter and NX. You ll both design end-to-end PLM solutions and execute custom development ensuring seamless data flows, robust integrations, and scalable architecture. Experience building supplier-exchange portals for Teamcenter is a strong plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Lead requirements workshops to capture TC/NX use cases across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain
Define system architecture, module interactions (eBOM mBOM, CAD data management, workflows), and integration patterns
Custom Development & Configuration
Implement and extend Teamcenter (Easy Plan, Quality, MPP) and NX integration using ITK, SOA, and Business Object Extensions
Configure NX workflows for CAD data publishing and visualization within Teamcenter
Supplier Portal Development (Optional)
Architect or extend web-based portals to exchange supplier data (drawings, specs, change notices) with Teamcenter via REST/SOAP services
Integration & Data Exchange
Build and maintain interfaces with SAP (IDoc/RFC/BAPI), MES, and third-party systems to synchronize part masters, work orders, and process feedback
Develop batch utilities or use Data Exchange Framework (DXF) for bulk master-data migrations
Testing & Deployment
Author and execute unit, integration, and user-acceptance test plans
Support go-live cutover, including data migration, performance tuning, and post-deployment triage
Technical Leadership
Produce technical documentation, run training sessions, and facilitate knowledge transfers
Required Qualifications
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen (A&D export controls)
Experience: 5 10 years in Siemens Teamcenter solution architecture and NX integration
Development Skills: Proficiency with ITK, SOA, Business Object Extensions, Java or C#
PLM Expertise: Strong understanding of eBOM/mBOM structures, change-management processes, and TC workflows
Integration: Hands-on interfacing with SAP (PP/PM/SD) and MES via web services or IDoc/RFC methods
Databases & Scripting: SQL Server or Oracle; scripting (Python, TCL) for automation and data loads
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, capable of bridging business and technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills
Prior work on supplier-exchange or vendor-portal projects for Teamcenter
Familiarity with Active Workspace or Teamcenter Rich Client UI customization
CAD/PDM expertise with NX (model publishing, JT visualization)
Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks)
Experience building supplier-exchange portals for Teamcenter is a strong plus, but not required
