DevOps Engineer

Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Location : Atlanta, GA 30303 (Onsite)

Duration : 12 Months

Required Qualifications:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources.
• Configure and manage GitLab repositories, branches, and access controls.
• Integrate AWS services and tools into the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure management processes.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software delivery process.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and visibility of the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to platform engineering.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Extensive knowledge of GitLab and its features for building pipelines
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as AWS, Terraform, or GitLab
• Experience with security testing tools like SAST, DAST, and SCA
• Drive, ownership, initiative, engagement and collaboration to deliver on team goals.
