Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify system requirements, and deliver effective solutions. Based in New Haven, Connecticut, this position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for improvement and system enhancements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine business and technical requirements.
Utilize Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows, track progress, and maintain documentation.
Conduct gap analyses to compare current processes with desired outcomes and recommend solutions.
Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to ensure clarity and alignment.
Perform AB testing to validate system functionality and user experience.
Support CRM-related initiatives by integrating business processes with technical solutions.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide ongoing support and training to users to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a detail-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Strong understanding of business process functions and the ability to perform gap analyses.
Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
Familiarity with AB testing and its application in validating system changes.
Knowledge of CRM systems and their integration with business processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams.
