Systems Engineer II

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Systems Engineer II.

Responsibilities:
* The Systems Engineer will be creating software packages, deployment, patch management, and data analytics in our endpoint environment
* Contribute and maintain internal documentation as it relates to technical information, procedures, and processes
* The Systems Engineer will deploy, manage, and automate device configurations and related monitoring/reporting/alerting tools

REQUIREMENTS:
* Practitioner certified AWS Professional or equivalent
* ITIL v3 or v4 Certified VMware Certified Professional - Digital Workspace certification

5+ years of extensive experience with:
* PC's, Mac's, and modern mobile devices troubleshooting
* Troubleshooting Windows 11, macOS, iOS and Android Operating Systems
* iOS and Android EMM (Workspace ONE or similar platforms) administration
* Chrome OS/Google Chrome Browser administration, deployment, and Support
* Virtual Machines (AWS Workspaces and Appstream 2.0) troubleshooting
* Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Google Application Suite
* Microsoft Autopilot and Apple's DEP technologies
* Microsoft Intune and Azure AD
* Enterprise Desktop Management tools (Workspace One, Ivanti Neurons)
* Endpoint security tools (antivirus, malware, MFA) Microsoft Windows Server administration

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in presenting to both technical and management teams
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
* Capable of effectively managing relationships with internal and external partners when needed
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Familiarity with AGILE practices like SCRUM Strong technical project management experience * Knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
* Hands-on experience using scripts and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Perl, or Ruby
* Experience working with AWS, Azure, and other Cloud platforms/technologies
* Strong Automation background/skills
* Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman
* Strong Ticketing system experience (ex. Service Now)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
