Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Morrisville, NC that is seeking a Business Analyst.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Platform as a Service (PaaS) team. This role is critical in supporting the migration of enterprise SaaS applications to a new infrastructure. You will work closely with project managers, product managers, and engineering teams to capture requirements, drive clarity, and ensure successful delivery of platform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirement-gathering sessions (up to 20 participants)
* Translate business needs into clear, actionable Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for engineering teams
* Navigate ambiguity and proactively identify missing information or gaps in requirements
* Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure alignment across stakeholders
* Support cross-functional teams by providing clarity and continuity throughout the project lifecycle
* Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, documentation, and project tracking

Collaborate with project managers across multiple workstreams, including
* Migration from Hyperflex to UCM
* Infrastructure observability enhancements
* Transition to a new ServiceNow instance

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology or infrastructure environments
* Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
* Proficient in Jira and Confluence
* Experience with infrastructure platforms, SaaS applications, or platform engineering is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
