Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Selenium automation using Java and strong manual testing capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to test automation framework development using Selenium, Java, and BDD
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop test strategies, test plans, workflows, and communication plans
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend integrations
- Conduct web and mobile application testing
- Execute data validation and database testing using SQL and data extracts
- Track defects and establish full traceability using Jira/Xray
- Produce comprehensive test reports for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with business, development, and project teams in an Agile environment
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
- Identify root causes of defects and recommend quality improvements
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in large-scale software development environments
- 2-4 years hands-on experience with Selenium automation using Java and BDD
- Strong experience testing core banking or retail banking applications
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Xray for test and defect management
- Strong API testing experience using Postman
- Solid experience with SQL, databases, and data extract testing
- Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
- Java or other programming certifications
- Software Testing / QA certifications
