Job Title: Supply Chain Planner Job Id: 24-00626 Location: New Brunswick, NJ Duration: 12 Months on W2 Contract with Possible Extension

Job Description:

Develop, implement and control the Master Production Plan considering demand, capacity, and inventory constraints in coordination with Site, Drug Product, and Finished goods planners. Ensure availability and adequate inventory levels of materials are available to execute the Supply Plan. Support execution of Rough Cut Capacity Planning Activities. the incumbent must comply with all Security Guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the Job Function.

1. Prepares and manages the drug product/drug substance network supply plan and capacity to correctly balance supply, demand, and inventory for the network.
2. Analyzes and solves the capacity and flavor management complexities within the 3-36 month horizon for the assigned brands and work centers.
3. Maintains the system accuracy by ensuring correct and complaint master and transactional data.
4. Evaluates scenarios, trade-offs, and summarizes the information in a concise and understandable format.
5. Participates with other Planners, Finance and Department Management in the development of the yearly budget.
6. Considers any brand or network constraints, commercial requirements, special projects, new products and existing product changes into the final plans.
7. Participates in weekly issues management and resolution with key personnel to achieve customer service and inventory targets.
8. Analyzes and optimizes asset utilization while consider short term material allocation requirements (flavor management & ship to promise)
9. Coordinates updates of site assumptions and supports monthly planning process thru consensus & S&OP meetings.
11. Informs receiving sites of product availability and delays to support negotiation of due dates and to anticipate supply issues.
12. Coordinates all activities required to assure the availability of Drug Product/Drug Substance to meet network plans.
13. Provides input to support preparation of Supply Chain meetings and participates in those meetings as needed.
14. Monitors the performance metrics for the assigned products and work centers (e.g. schedule attainment), provides Root Cause Analysis and follows up on actions plan to improve these metrics.
15. Does operate accordingly to internal and global procedures.
16. Candidate must have experience with Kinaxis rapid response and SAP
17. Biologics or pharmaceutical supply chain preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain or Engineering.
