Description: Our client is currently seeking a Electrical Construction Engineer
Project Engineer (Construction)
Location: Sturgis , South Dakota
Work Type: Onsite (No Remote)
Experience Required: 3+ Years in Construction Engineering
Education: Electrical Engineering Degree
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Construction Engineer overseeing contracts administered by the Resident Office.
Participate in contract modifications, including preparing scopes of work and reviewing proposals.
Conduct coordination meetings, preparatory phase meetings, and safety meetings.
Monitor contractor work quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
Review contractor plans, technical submittals, RFIs, and dispute resolutions.
Prepare progress reports, payment estimates, and compliance evaluations.
Support on-site Quality Assurance Representatives (QAR) in all construction activities.
Ensure timely completion by tracking milestones and identifying potential delays.
Qualifications & Skills
?? Engineering degree (any discipline).
?? Minimum 3 years of experience in construction engineering.
?? Strong understanding of contract modifications, QA plans, and compliance.
?? Ability to liaise with stakeholders, project managers, and government representatives.
?? Proficiency in construction project management tools.
